James Giammarco

[originally published on December 8, 2022, 2:19AM Eastern]

If anyone has any information on the whereabouts or occupation of James Giammarco of Cranston RI, please reach out! Turns out he’s a Proud Boy who has recently been active in Fall River MA

We recently did a thread on Proud Boy Zachary Pickering, who attempted to disrupt a DQSH alongside Boston-local eyeroll-worthy bore John Medlar

Also captured at the event was James Giammarco, previously undoxxed as a Proud Boy! How do we know this guy is a Proud Boy?

James Giammarco of Cranston RI was in Proud Boy duds back on October 6th, 2018 down in Providence RI. He was among other Proud Boys as they started fights with counter-protesters while providing “security” for Kyle Chapman’s Resist Marxism

James Giammarco of Cranston RI can even be glimpsed in footage of the event, like here at timestamp 3:06

Gentle reminder that John Medlar is ALSO a Proud Boy, as evidenced by this recording of his shit getting rocked at the aforementioned event in Providence

That makes three of the five people, prevented from disrupting the DQSH event by @RodWebber and organizers in Fall River, known Proud Boys! Doesn’t look good for those other two guys

For funsies, here’s Giammarco’s Snapchat. His extremely milquetoast, dorky Snapchat. James: you can choose to be anyone on the Internet, and you choose THIS? C’mon guy

In conclusion, James Giammarco of Cranston RI is likely still a member of the violent and neo-fascist Proud Boys. Solidarity to the comrades who keep each other safe!

Cody Baker

[originally published on July 27, 2022, 8:14AM Eastern]

In honor of antifascist comrades’ charges being dropped, let’s continue the celebration by meeting Nationalist Social Club-131 member Cody Baker of Fall River, MA.

(The comrades’ charges were dropped but Chris Hood’s weren’t, hahahaha)

Cody was recently identified along with other NSC members on June 21, 2022, after they were arrested for posting propaganda at an elementary school (Gordon School) in East Providence.

Cody was not charged during the incident, but information was presented in the police report. The report provided a vehicle description, plate number, address, and phone number.

As well as his distinctive scum stache, Cody has some distinctive tattoos: a rose on his left hand, a guy throwing dice on the outside of his left arm, and a large cross on the inside of his right arm.

The phone # and address in the police report led to an unflattering CashApp profile–as unflattering as that wispy misplaced eyebrow on his upper lip–and seemed to suggest that Cody lives with his parents. Through his dad’s social media we found a “Cody Baker” on Facebook.

Not only did this Cody Baker have the same father with the same address listed in the police report, this Cody also had a picture of an old vehicle with the same license plate number listed in the police report…

and a picture of the a current vehicle that matched the make, model, and year of the one listed in the police report.  We have blurred the license plate number to comply with Twitter’s lovely personal information policies and out of respect for license plates.

After his arrest and after antifascist organizers let NSC-131 know that they are not welcome here, Cody, like all fascist cowards, tried to hide. But as usual, it was too little too late, Cody.

Isn’t it cute, that they think they can hide?

In conclusion, Cody is a member of the violent neo-Nazi group NSC-131. Solidarity to all the antifascist comrades out there putting in the work! ✊

“..understand that fascism is already here, that people are already dying who could be saved, that generations more will live poor butchered half-lives if you fail to act. Do what must be done, discover your humanity and your love in revolution.”

― George L. Jackson

For more information on NSC, check out their profile at Confronting New England White Supremacists. And remember: DON’T panic, DO get organized!

Here is a little social media graphic you can put on Instagram or whatever other horrible sites we’re not on! (Twitter is monstrous enough for us)

Marco Coppola

[originally published on April 12, 2021, 7:42AM Eastern]

Good morning, everyone! Today’s flavor of fascist is “bootlicking failson,” provenance: Watertown, Massachusetts.

Say hello to Marco Coppola! He’s the maskless idiot in the gray shirt.

Marco wants everyone to know that he considers anyone opposed to police violence a “loser.” He said so when harassing protestors last month who were standing against the targeting of a Watertown teacher for telling her students about Black Lives Matter!

He also had a mouth full of homophobic, transphobic, and racist slurs and threats of violence, typically made from behind a line of cops. He shoved a cop while trying to get at a protestor, but of course, Watertown’s finest patted him on the head and probably gave him a lollipop

Losing is something Coppola knows a thing or two about. A “lifelong Watertown townie,” Marco had a moment in the sun as a standout basketball player at Watertown High School. He even got into Worcester Polytechnic Institute on the strength of his ability!

Alas, he didn’t make it past freshman year. Did he wash out due to grades? Conduct? Injuries? Maybe he just couldn’t ball that well in the big leagues. Who knows? Who cares?

A classic “guy who peaked in high school,” Coppola has dedicated his post-college career to working for his dad’s landscaping firm and being generally unpleasant.

Showing the finesse and intelligence we’ve come to expect from the “back the blue” crowd, he wore a shirt advertising his workplace while screaming slurs and threats. (0:03 and again at 1:03)

Reports vary, but it seems likely Daddy Coppola was there too to call for the cancellation of a Watertown teacher for exposing the precious darlings of the town to ideas, so Marco’s job is probably safe.

Anyway, if you want a landscaper in the Watertown area that doesn’t employ violent bigoted failsons, maybe give the Coppolas and Watertown Landscaping a pass.

Steven Pittsley

[originally published on November 3, 2021, 9:48AM Eastern]

Good morning! This is Steven Pittsley, another CORR chud and a member of the Three Percenters militia movement.

Content warning for the whole thread for misogyny, sexual violence, and general incel shit.

Of CORR’s organizers, Steven is one of the most open about his misogyny and violence. He is in the CORR organizers Telegram chat and has attended CORR meetings with Melissa Terra, the channel’s admin.

We threaded on Melissa Terra on Monday, including where she works:

And we’ve been threading on CORR (“Citizens Organized to Restore Rights”) since last week. The TL;DR is that they are “patriot” types who do security for other fashy groups, like Super Happy Fun America, and raise money for the “heroes of January 6”

In addition to his involvement with CORR, Steven is part of the Three Percenters, a right-wing militia movement with delusions of re-fighting the Revolutionary War. Here’s a quick overview from the @splcenter.

Steven uses the Threeper location format in his Telegram handle (MA-Z3L, “Massachusetts zone 3”). His Facebook banner makes his Threeper loyalty even more obvious:

With so many people in his profile pic, it can be hard to figure out which one is Steven. Fortunately, our dude also has a Twitter, which helps us narrow it down:

And here he is posting a lot of Threeper stuff on said Twitter:

From there we can find his YouTube channel, also under the name Steven Pittsley, which only has 2 subscribers and some dorky Airsoft videos. It is definitely the same guy, though.

Steven really loves guns. Like, a lot. His Facebook likes are full of guns, hot girls with guns, more guns, and… French bulldog Viking furry domination? We’re not 100% sure what we’re looking at here, to be honest

Steven is extremely worried that the encroaching government is going to take his lovely guns away, like they’ve definitely been on the brink of doing any minute now for decades (in the right-wing imagination):

In a very worrying combination, while Steven loves guns, he hates women. His posts are full of misogynistic rants, rape apologism, anti-abortion rhetoric, and angry incel bullshit:

The reason this is a worrying combination is that misogyny and mass shootings are closely intertwined. Most mass shooters have either a history of domestic violence or a history of being mad that they don’t have a girlfriend to commit DV upon (or both).

This connection between misogyny and mass shootings has been reported on fairly extensively in both academic journals and mainstream newspapers, but people seem to sort of forget about it between shootings.

Anyway, when he is not playing with guns or posting rape apologia online, Steven lives in Fall River, Massachusetts, where he installs pools and is careless about where he posts his phone number (why do they keep doing this?).

CORR’s founder David Steinhof is also based in Fall River, where he organizes out of his dental practice, nicknamed “Valley Forge.” We threaded on him and his domestic violence allegations last week:

CORR and their goons, like Steven, are coming up from Fall River this Sunday to bother Boston with a rally with Straight Pride jerkwads Super Happy Fun America, a group that features two January 6 arrestees in its leadership.

If you’d like to tell this whole load of violently misogynistic failsons to get the hell out of town, @Bos_Solidarity is leading the counterprotest at 11:30 a.m. on Boston Common: http://bit.ly/MaskUpNov7 See you there!

EDITOR’S NOTES – JANUARY 8TH, 2023: We apologize for omitting that Pittsley was charged for bomb threats under another name in 2017.

Joshua Mello

[originally published November 2, 2021, 9:14AM Eastern]

Meet Josh Mello, violent homophobe and owner of K’s Kustom’s in Warwick, RI!

Mugshot

Mello is an organizer with CORR, showing up to their demonstrations and food drives, making homophobic/transphobic speeches, and getting arrested for becoming violent at a middle school.

CORR, short for “Citizens Organized to Restore Rights,” is a far-right “patriot” movement with terrible graphic design sense that does “security” for other far-right groups, such as Super Happy Fun America. Their pet issues are COVID denialism and supporting police brutality.

We threaded a bit on CORR and their founder, alleged domestic abuser David Steinhof, last week:

Mello is all in on the COVID denialism! Here he is protesting the vaccine mandates in RI on Oct. 1, wearing the shirt he never changes and his favorite midlife crisis hat.

Mello is also incredibly homophobic and transphobic, calling lessons about LGBTQ perspectives/experiences “predatory” and a form of “gender war,” and schools that are supportive of their queer students “criminals.”

With those attitudes, it’s no wonder he’s teaming up with Super Happy Fun America, who have been pulling violent queerphobic bullshit in the area for years. Here’s @thatcaseyquin on their Straight Pride Parade.

Last month, Mello got so enraged that he got into a violent altercation at a middle school, where he was arrested and found to be in possession of 3 knives. Here he is appropriating BLM rhetoric about it.

Outraged at not being allowed to endanger schoolchildren, Mello did what he does best: Blame queer people. Here he is giving a statement about this altercation at a RI public input session at Harry Kizirian Elementary in Providence, in his midlife crisis hat and his CORR shirt.

In this impassioned speech, he blamed his violent behavior at a middle school on changing gender roles in families and “the schools indoctrinating our children with poison.” By poison we can safely assume he means the LGBTQ+ movement’s struggle for equality.

You can join him at his arraignment on 11/16/2021 at 9 a.m. at the 3rd Division district court in RI.

This isn’t the first time Mello has gotten in trouble for violence. In 2011, he was charged with 4th degree arson by the Kent County Court in RI.

And it happened just a month after his birthday. What a way to turn 35, buddy.

Explains the midlife crisis hat, though.

All this would be bad enough if Mello were just a lone kook throwing violent tantrums at middle schools, but in hooking up with CORR and SHFA—formerly “Resist Marxism”—he’s found some awful kindred spirits.

Here’s @DavidNeiwert on SHFA’s earlier incarnation’s history of violent tantrums, including in Mello’s home state of Rhode Island.

Since CORR didn’t exist yet, SHFA’s/Resist Marxism’s main partner organization for that rally was the now-infamous Proud Boys, who at the time were still pretending to be a drinking club. Here’s more on the Proud Boys from @AndyBCampbell.

We are sure Mello will fit right in with the SHFA losers and their constant lashing out about “gender madness,” or whatever hateful bile they’re spouting that actually makes queer people sound extra cool

If you want to DEFEND gender madness, OPPOSE anti-Semitic dogwhistles like “Cultural Marxism,” and DEFEAT local fascist groups like SHFA and CORR, turn out for Boston Solidarity Against Hate’s counterprotest to the above event in Boston Common at 11:30 a.m. on 11/7! http://bit.ly/MaskUpNOv7

As for Mello, well, don’t do your Christmas shopping at K’s Kustom’s Ride-On Toy Vehicles in Warwick.

Yes, that’s right: The guy that sets fires and blames his violence in front of children on the gays runs a toy repair shop.

You couldn’t make these people up.

Melissa M. Terra

[originally published on November 1, 2021, 9:16AM Eastern]

Time to meet another core CORR organizer (lol), as promised. This is Melissa Terra, CORR’s Telegram admin!

Melissa works for Veterans Inc., a social service for veterans. You can call (508) 791-1213 ext. 1190 to ask HR why they are employing a pro-fascist COVID denier.

For new readers, CORR (Citizens Organized to Restore Rights) is a far-right “patriot” group that does “security” for other violent fascist groups, including Super Happy Fun America, and have been raising money for their “Heroes of January 6,” including two dipshits from SHFA.

For a review of SHFA’s history of violent and hateful targeting of marginalized groups, read @thatcaseyquin’s article on their Straight Pride Parade in 2019.

On May 27, 2021, the admin of the CORR Telegram channel, username Melissalovely, posted the picture in Tweet #1 to the channel.

This photo also Melissa Terra’s Facebook header, so we know we’ve got the right person.

She also has an unfortunate TikTok, if you want to listen to some anti-vax ranting and watch her try to turn the arrests of two other anti-mask weirdos, Kevin Mackie and Amanda Miller, into some sort of denier cause celebre.

In addition to running CORR’s social media, she has run for office alongside David Steinhof (fortunately, also unsuccessfully).

We threaded on David Steinhof, the founder of CORR, last week (as did Solidarity Against Hate Boston):

Terra is currently running for Somerset Board of Selectmen, so if you live in or know any folks in Somerset, please do what you can to ensure this “neutral candidate” (lol) does not get into office.

To recap, your action items are:
-Call Melissa Terra’s employer at (508) 791-1213 ext. 1190
-If you are in Somerset, keep her off the Board of Selectmen
-On Sunday, Nov. 7 at 11:30, show up at Boston Common for @Bos_Solidarity’s counterprotest: http://bit.ly/MaskUpNov7

EDITOR’S NOTES – JANUARY 8TH, 2023: We apologize for omitting that, by July 12th, 2021 and well before this thread had been posted, Melissa Terra had lost her Somerset Select Board campaign to Kathy Souza.

According to Melissa Terra’s LinkedIn profile, she is still employed at Veterans, Inc.

Katie E. Ferriera-Aubin

[originally published on October 29, 2021, 12:30PM Eastern]

Good morning! As promised, it’s time to meet another CORR organizer.

Say hello to Katie Ferriera-Aubin!

Katie compared mask mandates to the extermination of Jewish people in a now-deleted Tik Tok video while serving as a member of the School Committee in Dighton, MA.

In the video she gestures to the headline “COVID Certificate of Identification” and then points to a photo of a Nazi concentration camp survivors tattoo. She then says, “Same thing, different strategy!”

The Anti-Defamation League of New England denounced her post in a tweet:

In the same series of videos, she disparaged gender identity and compared vaccine mandates to Jim crow segregation.

She refused to apologize for her anti-Semitic posts: “When you explain things in that extreme, it does get people’s attention to kind of say, OK, maybe our freedoms are being taken away right now. So, sometimes you do have to use extremes to get attention. But I stand by it.”

She refused to apologize for her anti-Semitic posts: “When you explain things in that extreme, it does get people’s attention to kind of say, OK, maybe our freedoms are being taken away right now. So, sometimes you do have to use extremes to get attention. But I stand by it.”

Her Facebook is also full of posts upholding the “rights” of parents to give children and teachers the plague, and beefing with teachers unions:

If you wish to support teachers unions against the kinds of people who think that they have a God-given right to give children and teachers the plague, please show up on the common at 11:30 on November 7 to tell SHFA and CORR to get out! http://bit.ly/MaskUpNov7

Noah W. Bogosh

[originally published January 30, 2020, 12:50PM Eastern]

Last week, Patriot Front’s Noah Bogosh was arrested in Brookline for stickering city property while high.

Noah was also part of the PF group that tried to crash the March Against Cages last year.

Let’s take a closer look at Noah and his friends.

Noah, the son of a pastor, spent his teen years in Florida—first home-schooled, then at FSU—making him an official Florida Man. He has a DUI in Florida, which is boring by Florida Man standards, but does give us some additional information, like what he looks like.

On August 4, 2019, Noah was part of a group of 8 Patriot Front members who attempted to disrupt the Boston March Against Cages, an anti-ICE demonstration.

Noah’s the big one.

The anti-ICE protesters quickly surrounded Patriot Front and backed them onto the Orange Line, where they stood around looking awkward about being trapped on a train in masks.

The guy dramatically clutching his chest is Chris Hood.

Hood was the leader of the Boston chapter of PF at the time (he has since been kicked out for stealing their print shop money to buy weed). He had been arrested earlier in the year on a weapons charge while posting racist flyers in East Boston.

Hood was also part of Boston’s supposedly not-fascist Resist Marxism, whose main organizers are now Super Happy Fun America, which organized the Straight Pride Parade.

ThinkProgress (RIP) documented Hood’s ties to RM back when it was active as RM.

The guy behind Bogosh in the Unicorn Riot photo—dressed the same, basically looks like a slightly smaller version of him—is Matthias Thorpe.

Here he is seig-heiling at the March Against Cages, and here’s what he looks like unmasked

With Hood, Thorpe was also in Resist Marxism before its rebrand, right from its early days in 2017.

North Shore Antifa’s got photos of him with Samson Racciopi, Garrett Kirkland, and other known fashy dipshits from back before he was ID’d:

Thorpe was also involved with Anti-Communist Action, a neo-Nazi organization that attended Unite the Right in 2017.

In late 2017, Thorpe, accompanied by Hood and TPUSA affiliate Chris Bartley, crashed a Mark Bray book signing at the Harvard Coop, went out and picked a fight, lost it, and then whined about it on Periscope.

Patriot Front has supposedly prioritized keeping its members’ identities secret above all other aspects of organizing, so… nice job, guys.

They all do some dumb shit that ends up exposing themselves eventually. And when they do, we’ll make sure to put it on blast.

Anyway, the point here is that Bogosh isn’t some random stoner with poor judgment who wandered into possession of some Patriot Front stickers. He’s definitely a Nazi who hangs out with other Nazis, and should be shunned from polite society.
